Abstract 265: Endovascular Thrombectomy for Acute Ischemic Stroke in Anticoagulated Patients
Endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) is effective in treating acute ischemic stroke, with research showing improved functional outcomes compared to medical treatment alone. Oral anticoagulants (OAC) are often prescribed for stroke prevention. In such a population, the safety and efficacy of EVT remain uncertain.
