Abstract 099: Evaluating the Efficacy and Safety of Lumbrokinase in Acute Ischemic Stroke: A Meta‐Analysis
Acute ischemic stroke requires timely and effective interventions. Alteplase remains the standard of care for thrombolysis, but its high cost and limited availability pose challenges, particularly in developing countries. Lumbrokinase, a fibrinolytic enzyme derived from earthworms, has been suggested as a potential adjunctive therapy for acute ischemic stroke. This systematic review and meta‐analysis aim to evaluate the efficacy and safety of lumbrokinase in combination with supportive management compared to supportive management alone in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke.
