Abstract 385: Rapid Development of Diffuse Subcutaneous Hematomas Following IV Alteplase

Alteplase is an approved therapy for acute ischemic stroke. Complications related to tPA occur at a rate of 13% with the most common complications being symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage, major systemic hemorrhage, and angioedema. While these are all known complications, this case discusses an unknown complication related to IV alteplase.
