Abstract 084: Comprehensive In‐Vitro Neurovascular Modeling with Real‐Time Data Acquisition for Simulated Stroke Treatment

The rapid adoption of neurointerventional treatment techniques has increased the need for improved development and validation of neuroendovascular devices. In vitro and in vivo testing regimens are common, yet in vivo animal usage is highly scrutinized, financially costly, and can be challenging to replicate consistent patient‐related conditions. The goal is to create an advanced and comprehensive in vitro simulated surgical suite (S3) utilizing replaceable 3D‐printed vascular models with validated human‐like tissue mechanical properties, blood analog with blood pressure, flow and shear‐thinning properties, fluoroscopic visualization, and real‐time pressure flow measurements in all relevant vessel branches, simulated thrombus and other neurovascular defects such as aneurysms and fistulas.
