DEVELOPMENT OF PSYCHOLOGICALLY IMPORTANT QUALITIES IN THE FIELD OF PHYSICAL CULTURE

Understanding the importance of not only highly specialized knowledge, but also psychologically important qualities and skills of the chosen specialty included in the training program for specialists in the field of physical culture and sports, increase the chances of university graduates for employment. The task was set to identify the psychologically important qualities in the specialties: «Нead in the field of of physical culture and sports» and «Сoach». In order to further develop the draft work program of the discipline «Psychologically important qualities of a specialist in physical culture and sports». The questionnaires «Psychologically important qualities and skills of a manager in the field of physical culture and sports» and «Psychologically important qualities and skills of a coach» have been developed. Key psychologically important qualities for specialists in the field of physical culture and sports: stress tolerance, emotional and social intelligence, motivation, self-organization, leadership qualities, creativity, empathy. The program for the purposeful development of psychologically important qualities reflects the current trends in pedagogical and psychological science and seeks to increase the competitiveness of university graduates in the labor market. The differentiated approach makes it possible to identify general and special psychologically important skills for managers in the field of physical culture and sports and coaches.
