ANAEROBIC METABOLISM THRESHOLD: EVOLUTION OF DIAGNOSTIC METHODS AND TESTING PROTOCOLS
The article discusses the history of the origin and development of the concept of the threshold of anaerobic metabolism (PANO). An overview of the studies affecting the development of this, in the process of competitive and training influences from the moment of the formation of the concept to the present day is made. Methods and criteria for determining the threshold of anaerobic metabolism are considered, their specificity and features of use are analyzed. In the course of the study, the evolution of knowledge about the PANO is revealed, the current state of the problem and the vector of modern research in this area are indicated.
