A circulação e as interpretações políticas de Que horas ela volta?
This study aims to analyze the critical and political circulation of the movie Que horas ela volta? (The second mother, Anna Muylaert, 2015) since its first release. Based on reactions to the film, including its consecutive screenings on TV, we aimed to map its recurring interpretations. For this, we employed two theoretical-methodological concepts: anchoring — the way in which the film dialogues with political and social debates based on its representations and circulations — and coupling — the reactions of spectator groups who connect to the movie, construct new interpretations about it, or mobilize already present ones circulating in the critical and media spheres.
