Substantiation of Stability by Modeling an Array for Fixing Retaining Walls

The paper analyzes the existing methods of fastening retaining walls and their applicability in mountainous conditions. The purpose of the study was to substantiate the stability of the retaining wall mounting structure in mountainous conditions using the method of modeling an array of rocks. Supporting construction justification of a suitable method for modeling a rock massif in the field of mining. Mathematical models have been developed to simulate a rock mass in conditions of retaining wall mounting. Numerical methods and analytical calculations were used to conduct the study.

Abstract

The paper analyzes the existing methods of fastening retaining walls and their applicability in mountainous conditions. The purpose of the study was to substantiate the stability of the retaining wall mounting structure in mountainous conditions using the method of modeling an array of rocks. Supporting construction justification of a suitable method for modeling a rock massif in the field of mining. Mathematical models have been developed to simulate a rock mass in conditions of retaining wall mounting. Numerical methods and analytical calculations were used to conduct the study.
