Analysis of transportation, distance, and cost trends in students: a study on student mobility on the way to school
This article presents the results of a survey of students at a public educational institution to identify and analyze transportation trends, distance traveled, and associated costs in their commute to school. From the data collected, mobility patterns were identified highlighting the main modes of transportation used, the average distances traveled by students, and the economic impact represented by the cost of transportation each time they attend school. The results reveal important differences in the use of transportation based on factors such as distance traveled and cost, which raises the need for more inclusive and sustainable mobility policies for the average economy of public-school students.
