Research on the safety analysis method and example of unmanned aircraft system based on operation risk level
Currently, there is no mature solution for the system safety analysis method of UAVs at home and abroad. Due to the complexity of operating conditions and design features, the safety of UAV systems is not limited to the aircraft design itself, but also needs to consider the ground risks and air risks brought by the operating scenarios. The operational risk level needs to be quantified as the input of the aircraft system safety design goal. Based on the specific operational risk assessment method (SORA) [1], this paper deeply studies the operational target elements and verification methods of UAV system safety on the basis of modeling the operating scenario, and sorts out and decomposes the UAV system safety analysis methods under different operational risk levels. For the first time in China, based on operational risks and classification, the key points of UAV system safety analysis under medium and high risk operating scenarios are summarized, and simplified UAV system safety methods and processes are clearly proposed and analyzed for application. It provides support and reference for the safety assessment and certification of UAV systems and lays a foundation for further research.
