Occlusion and High Atmospheric Turbulence Influenced Orbital Angular Momentum Beam in Free-Space Optical Systems
Orbital Angular Momentum is an intrinsic charac-teristic of structured vortex beams, where different topological charges are independent. However, when the transmitting beam is exposed to a harsh environment and partially occluded by obstacles in the communication path, mode detection may be difficult, and accuracy may be reduced. To resolve this problem in outdoor situations, this paper demonstrates a deep-learning method to regenerate the intensity images of the vortex beams. We anticipate this proposed algorithm can be applied to realistic environments with harsh rainy weather conditions.
