Intent- Based Network Management and Its Application Prospects in Smart Grids
This article provides a review of the application of intent-driven networks in smart grids, suitable for domestic journals focusing on review or prospective articles. Firstly, the article introduces the concept of intent-driven networks and their enhancement based on Software-Defined Networking (SDN), emphasizing the shift from network control to adaptive management. It then reviews the requirements of smart grids for intelligent network management, discusses the role of SDN in the evolution of smart grid communications, and briefly outlines relevant research. Finally, it explores potential applications of intent-driven networks, including dynamic resource scheduling, integration with edge computing, fault detection and self-healing, energy efficiency optimization, and standardization issues, offering new perspectives for optimizing management in smart grids.
