Efficient Channel Allocation Scheme for the Downlink of 3D Satellite Networks

Frequency sharing in a three-dimensional (3D) satellite network involves multiple satellites using the same or overlapping frequency resources without causing harmful interference to each other. This is crucial for maximizing the efficiency of the limited spectrum available for satellite communications. In this paper, we propose a vertical partitioning scheme to achieve efficient frequency sharing in 3D satellite networks, enabling them to provide reliable and high-capacity services without harmful interference.

Abstract

Frequency sharing in a three-dimensional (3D) satellite network involves multiple satellites using the same or overlapping frequency resources without causing harmful interference to each other. This is crucial for maximizing the efficiency of the limited spectrum available for satellite communications. In this paper, we propose a vertical partitioning scheme to achieve efficient frequency sharing in 3D satellite networks, enabling them to provide reliable and high-capacity services without harmful interference.
