Research on Embedded Database Indexing Technology in Avionics Systems

With the development and popularization of information technology, modern military and civilian aircraft, ships, and other embedded electronic devices need to deal with more and more data and information, and there is an urgent need to improve management. In the past, the utilization of binary files or file systems was plagued by various issues, including data that could not be shared, redundancy, limited versatility, inefficiencies in reading and writing, and other defects. These shortcomings were unable to meet the current demands for fast data processing speeds, high efficiency, and optimal performance. Therefore, one priority is mainly given to the indexing technology of the four indexing structures of B-tree, B+tree, CSB+tree, and T -tree for research. Moreover, the emphasis lies on identifying the optimal query algorithm for analyzing, comparing, and validating indexing trees, including the R-tree, across various efficiency and performance indices. This analysis is grounded in the results of test data sourced from the avionics system's database, examining distinct scenarios on how to integrate the indexing structure and query algorithm to effectively implement the proposed solution.
