Digital Elevation Model Construction of Heterogeneous Environment Based on Point Data
In order to improve the accuracy of Digital Elevation Model (DEM) construction under complex terrain and heterogeneous surface conditions, and to deal with the problems of close, distant and uneven density of Lidar scanning data, a DEM construction method combining cloth simulation filtering and inverse distance weight interpolation is proposed, and the accuracy is compared and verified for flat bare land, flat high vegetation and complex areas. This paper studies DEM construction method. Firstly, the outliers are removed and the data volume is reduced based on voxel equal-distance filtering. Then, the ground points and non-ground points are separated by cloth simulation filtering algorithm. Finally, the DEM is constructed based on inverse distance weight interpolation after the ground point cloud data is gridded. Experiments show that the DEM construction method, which combines cloth simulation filtering and inverse distance weight interpolation, has higher accuracy on the whole, and performs well in different terrain and heterogeneous surface environment. This study provides a reference for DEM construction of different terrain and heterogeneous surface.
