Collision Reduction Method Using Sequence Based Preamble in AD-HOC Network

In ad-hoc network, bits based preamble is used to send data. When more than one node transmits preamble, node detects collision between received preambles, then the node does not try to receive data. So, in order to receive data in the case of collision, this paper proposes collision reduction method using sequence based preamble in ad-hoc network. Simulation results show that reception fail probability of the proposed method is lower than the conventional method.

Abstract

In ad-hoc network, bits based preamble is used to send data. When more than one node transmits preamble, node detects collision between received preambles, then the node does not try to receive data. So, in order to receive data in the case of collision, this paper proposes collision reduction method using sequence based preamble in ad-hoc network. Simulation results show that reception fail probability of the proposed method is lower than the conventional method.
