Research on associative learning and memory circuits based on memristors
Spike-timing-dependent plasticity (STDP) and associative memory are important theories for describing biological learning and forgetting in academic research. As a new type of passive device, memristor can be used to realize the integration of brain-like computing and storage computing. Combined with the physical model of memristor, the memristive simulation circuit was constructed, and the correctness of the circuit function was verified by multisim simulation. The role of memristor in the learning and memory circuit was analyzed, and the correlation learning circuit was designed to verify the STDP rules and realize the learning and forgetting functions. The input-output characteristic curves are obtained by using Multisim, and the correctness of the circuit learning and forgetting functions is verified. The circuit of associative learning and memory based on memristor lays the foundation for large-scale neuromorphic computation, and opens up the potential application of memristor in neural network system.
