Research on a test method of startup time for embedded operating system
Startup time is one of the important indexes to evaluate the performance of embedded operating system. Aimingat the problems such as low accuracy, weak compatibility and poor feasibility of various conventional system starttime measurement methods, this paper proposes a test method of system start time controlled by program. The test system is built by using the host computer and power control module, and the host computer clock is used as a unified time reference frame. We need to test the hot start, cold start and low-power wake up scenarios of the target terminal under test, which can accurately collect and record all kinds of time node messages and output all kinds of start time results. The test results show that the measurement method proposed in this paper effectively improves the test efficiency, has strong usability, high measurement accuracy and precision, and provides an important data basis for the performance evaluation of the operating system.
