A Hybrid-Simulated Annealing Algorithm Based Wind-Solar-Storage Power Allocation Scheme
In this paper, we explore the key challenges of optimising the allocation of power in an integrated system containing wind power, photovoltaic power and conventional grid infrastructure. The main focus is on how to strategically deploy these different power sources in order to efficiently meet electricity demand. To this end, we consider key decision variables such as curtailed PV generation, curtailed wind generation, electricity purchased by the grid, and battery charge/discharge cycles, all of which are subject to human control. To address these challenges, we develop a singleobjective dynamic optimisation model that targets efficient power deployment. We use a hybrid genetic algorithm combined with simulated annealing to solve the model. This approach allows us to systematically analyse the performance of wind and photovoltaic (PV) systems when operated independently, and to determine the optimal power deployment strategy when wind. PV are integrated with battery storage and conventional grid systems.
