Standardizing Power Equipment Configuration and Cross-Device Data Interaction Using Translation and Abstraction Layers
A method of using transformation and abstraction layers to standardize power equipment configuration and promote cross-device data interaction is proposed. This method effectively solves the challenges brought by the diversity of configuration logic between different manufacturers’ devices and the complexity introduced by various software versions. By introducing the translation layer, the method uses XML language and configuration management system to convert different configuration information from different manufacturers and software versions into a unified data format to ensure that all devices are consistent and standardized. In addition, the abstraction layer is implemented through a web-based configuration management system that abstracts the underlying complexity of various devices into easy-to-understand concepts and structures. Operators can manage configurations at this abstract level without directly addressing the differences in underlying device configurations, significantly reducing management complexity, technical requirements, and operational difficulty. The proposed method improves management efficiency and accuracy by providing a unified configuration management interface to ensure that all configuration data follow a consistent format. This also improves the traceability and consistency of device configuration, making it easier to audit and comply. In addition, it simplifies the integration and management of devices from multiple manufacturers, allowing seamless data exchange and interaction between different systems.
