Evaluation of the Impact of Degradation of Accuracy of Time Synchronization of IEEE802.1AS on QoS Control in IEEE802.1TSN
This paper evaluates the effect of the degradation of time synchronization accuracy caused by network congestion on CBS, TAS, and ATS in IEEE 802.1TSN by experiment. Some studies assess the degradation of time synchronization accuracy on the QoS of CBS and TAS. However, no study treats ATS as a type of priority control that does not require time synchronization between devices. The experimental results show that CBS and ATS should be used in environments where time synchronization accuracy may deteriorate due to network congestion.
