Research on the coordinated operation strategy of wind turbines and photovoltaics in the park’s microgrid based on a two-stage stochastic optimization method
The aim of this paper is to study the coordinated operation of wind and storage in a park microgrid through a two-stage stochastic optimization approach in order to improve the energy utilization efficiency and reduce the system operation cost. The study first establishes a microgrid model that comprehensively includes wind power generation, photovoltaic power generation, energy storage systems and loads interacting with the main grid, and considers in detail the uncertainties of wind and solar outputs and loads. A two-stage stochastic optimization approach is used for strategy optimization, with the first stage developing a preliminary operation strategy based on forecast data and the second stage adjusting the optimization based on actual data. The effectiveness of the strategy is verified through numerical simulations of multiple scenarios, and the specific impacts of the storage capacity and the proportion of installed wind and solar power on the system operation are explored in depth. The results show that the optimized coordination strategy can significantly improve the economy and reliability of the system.
