Distributed Photovoltaic Microgeneration Model to Improve Energy Efficiency in Residential Supplies
This article presents the results of the research aimed at determining the influence of photovoltaic distributed microgeneration, with load profile variation on energy efficiency in residential supplies with BT5B tariff and consumption over 100kWh/month in the district of EI Tambo, province of Huancayo, Peru; the population consisted of all residential supplies of the district in question, the sample was a typical residential supply selected using non-probabilistic sampling by convenience because the research was conducted as an experimental type. The design and simulation of the results was carried out with the software “Perfilcargafv”, which was developed in Matlab; by means of this application and from the load profile of each supply, different profitable configurations of generation systems connected to the network can be obtained, analyzing each of the variables of the research. The results showed that the electrical energy consumed from the commercial network is considerably reduced, as well as the monthly billing, greenhouse gas emissions and energy losses; this allows concluding that the energy efficiency of residential supplies was significantly improved.
