Frame Scheduling Approach for Real-Time Streaming
In construction sites or disaster environments, small mobile devices such as drones or small robot utilize images for situational awareness. For a stable communication environment, wired connections are primarily used, because wired network has high bandwidth, low latency, and low error rate. However, in wired environments, mobility is significantly limited, making it difficult to apply to unmanned mobile devices such as drones. Therefore, wireless communication is required for mobility support. However, wireless environments have relatively unstable communication conditions compared to wired networks due to path fading and interference. Therefore, drones which uses high-altitude communication or small robot in underground construction site or tunnels experience interference in real-time communication due to instability in wireless communication.
