Design of a Data Storage Structure for Smart Farm Data Utilization
With the advancement of IoT technology, vast amounts of data are being collected across various agricultural sectors and utilized through big data platforms. However, the sheer volume of data, combined with the significant resources required to identify and manage individual data, poses challenges for using this data in analysis-based decision-making. To address these issues, this paper proposes a structure for systematically classifying agricultural data by crop variety and purpose, while efficiently storing and managing diverse datasets. Metadata based on agricultural characteristics is generated and stored efficiently, enabling easy identification and management of the data. This data management structure is not limited to smart farm platforms but can also be widely applied to generally collected agricultural data and other categorized datasets.
