A Consensus Averaging Synchronization Algorithm for Distributed Transmit Beamforming Based on Event-Triggered Updates
Distributed transmit beamforming technology involves the coordinated operation of multiple antenna nodes to achieve signal direction control and enhancement. This paper addresses the critical issue of frequency and phase synchronization among nodes in this technology by proposing a consensus averaging synchronization algorithm for distributed transmit beamforming based on event-triggered updates (CAS-DBET). This algorithm incorporates both signal strength and asynchrony metrics to classify transmitting nodes. For nodes with strong signals that meet the asynchrony threshold, it uses an event-triggered approach to update frequency and phase parameters. Simulation results demonstrate that the algorithm improves overall synchronization efficiency and reduces synchronization time while maintaining 10−9 accuracy. It outperforms existing methods in terms of time complexity and scalability, making it suitable for large-scale distributed wireless systems.
