Legal and organizational aspects of providing anonymous medical care to narcological patients

Novelties in healthcare legislation, on the one hand, dictate new opportunities, and on the other hand, generate a number of legal and practical issues. This article touches on one of the most relevant topics today, namely the realization of patients’ rights to anonymity. Back in 2016, Kadyrov F. N. noted that «paid medical services on an anonymous basis, despite the fact that it is legally declared, cannot be provided, since legally this issue has not been sufficiently regulated» [1]. The purpose of the article is to assess the possibility of realizing the rights of patients to receive anonymous medical care (hereinafter — MP). To achieve this goal, the authors paid special attention to the already proven mechanism of anonymous provision of MP in drug treatment facilities, analyzing it from the perspective of legal regulation and application in practical healthcare.

Abstract

Novelties in healthcare legislation, on the one hand, dictate new opportunities, and on the other hand, generate a number of legal and practical issues. This article touches on one of the most relevant topics today, namely the realization of patients’ rights to anonymity. Back in 2016, Kadyrov F.
