Formation of personal and situational anxiety in medical workers under stressful working conditions
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant negative psychological impact on doctors, radically restructuring their standard work routine, which provoked an increased level of psychological discomfort and occupational stress [1, 2]. The professional activity of a medical worker is always, and especially during epidemic outbreaks of dangerous infections, associated with issues of “life and death”, which determine a high degree of responsibility for a patient in a serious condition, defined as the degree of risk of developing emotional burnout [3, 4, 5]. It has been proven that a decrease in quality of life due to occupational stress and changes in the work stereotype of doctors and paramedics leads to a significant decline in physical and psychological comfort both in the working environment and in private life [6, 7, 8].
