Strategie opozycyjnych partii politycznych w warunkach zaburzenia demokratycznych reguł wyborczych

While there is a consensus in the political science community that elections cannot be equated with democracy, at the same time there is a consensus that distorting electoral processes is a threat to democracy. The article adopts the thesis that during the United Right’s period in power (2015–2023), elections in Poland were held under conditions of distortion of the democratic rules of the game. The financial, media and institutional imbalance favouring the ruling parties triggered a reaction on the part of the opposition, which undertook mobilisation and communication activities, both nationally and internationally.
