Analysis of the Difficulties in Learning Arabic Grammar among Korean Learners: Causes and Solutions “Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Model”

This study aims to identify the difficulties faced by Korean learners in learning Arabic grammar. Since previous studies on this topic have generally addressed the issue for all non-Arabic speakers, the researcher constructed two questionnaires, one targeting Korean professors and lecturers of Arabic in many Korean universities, and the other targeting first through fourth grade Arabic language learners from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. This study identifies the reasons for the difficulty of Arabic grammar from the perspective of both teachers and learners, monitors the reality of teaching Arabic grammar in South Korea, and suggests some solutions that would facilitate the teaching of Arabic grammar and overcoming the difficulties faced by Korean-speaking learners as much as possible.
