Formation of Conditions for Reliable Operation of Frictional Anchors
Safe performance of work in mine workings is ensured by securing exposed surfaces. Along with traditional anchor supports, «Change No. 1» to GOST 31559-2012 defines the possibility and technical requirements for anchors with friction fastening. An analysis of their designs showed that the main indicator that determines reliable operation – load-bearing capacity, is defined as the minimum value of three load capacity values: the anchor rod, the stop on the anchor, the base plate. It has been established that the load-bearing capacity of the friction fastening anchor must coincide with the load capacity of the stop on the anchor. Maintaining the original load capacity for the entire service life is ensured by applying protective coatings to all surfaces of the anchor. As a result of the research carried out, the feasibility of using a coating obtained on the basis of high-density polyethylene compositions with a thickness of 600-800 microns was substantiated. A comparative analysis of resistance to concentrated alkaline and salt environments showed retention of tensile strength.
