Traditional ethnic imperatives in a cultural frontier

The article analyzes ethnic and cultural issues in modern conditions. Didactic models focused on educating a special type of personality, designed to protect the state system either from external enemies or from internal ones, have not lost their relevance throughout the history of humankind and were the basis of the pedagogical complexes of the USSR, both in the paramilitary part of Soviet society and in the civilian sector. In the latter, however, there was no concept of compulsory discipline and order, which were replaced in everyday life by the concepts of collective interest, duty, and moral obligation. However, one thing seems obvious: those strata of the population, as well as the structures of a certain state, which, due to their functional load, play the role of a stabilizer of social relationships in frontier zones, are formed under the mandatory correcting and decisive impact of traditional ethnic norms and standards of education. As the experience of oppositional interactions between military and security forces of various societies, and, moreover, those of a diff erent confessional and ethnic nature, shows, it is the complexes of didactics, related to the customs of protection and forceful influence on the opponent, that lead to the formation of similar moral and ethical imperatives and to the creation of ways to possible dialogue and mutual understanding.
