Interest in first-generation genomic signatures Oncotype DX and Mammaprint in early-stage breast cancer
In certain situations of therapeutic uncertainty, clinico-pathological criteria are not sufficient to determine the risk of recurrence in patients with infiltrative breast cancer with positive hormone receptors and HER2 negative. The use of genomic signatures provides additional assistance. The MammaPrint® and Oncotype DX® genomic signatures highlight the expression of genes involved in the development and proliferation of a tumor. Validated by prospective studies, they are now an integral part of the routine care of these patients and must be carried out to better guide treatment.
