A Study on the Community Resource Network in Housing Welfare Service for Permanent Public Rental Housing

The purpose of this study is to analyze how housing welfare professionals in permanent public rental housing establish community resource networks, examine case studies of these projects, and explore the details of the networks with related institutions. The research method involved conducting expert surveys and focus group interviews(FGIs) with housing welfare professionals from six permanent public rental housing complexes. The results of the study are as follows: Various housing welfare services, including housing environment improvement for hoarding disorder, mental health counseling and programs, and identification of beneficiaries, were provided through the community resource networks. Each complex established connections with 9 to 13 institutions. The nature of these networks included the referral of service recipients and services, the exchange of human and material resources, the sharing of housing welfare information, collaboration in planning projects and programs, and regular and irregular meetings. To enhance the effectiveness of community resource networks in the future, improvements in the capabilities of housing welfare professionals, increased promotion, and environmental enhancements are needed.
