Ustne i pisemne gatunki wypowiedzi stosowane na polskich uczelniach w perspektywie glottodydaktycznej

The aim of this article is to present genre as one of the key concepts in teaching Polish for academic purposes. The first part presents the idea of Polish as a foreign language for academic purposes, followed by a definition of genre formulated from a glottodidactic point of view. The analytical section demonstrates the results of a survey conducted at Polish universities. The survey concerned genres employed by Polish academics and their application in groups of foreigners studying in Poland.
