Transformable <i>cis</i>–<i>trans</i> isomerism of ruthenium(<scp>ii</scp>) complexes with photoactivated anticancer activity
The cis -ruthenium( ii ) complex C1 has low cytotoxicity and can be transformed into the highly cytotoxic trans -ruthenium( ii ) complex T1 after photoactivation. T1 has a strong inhibitory effect on tumor cells in vitro and in vivo .
