Unscrambling the Sensing Abilities of Functionalized Triazole Derivatives in Diverse Analyte Detection
Triazole-derived derivatives have found applications in many domains, including catalysts, antibiotics, antimicrobial agents, and chemosensors. Their ability to bind different ranges of analytes made them an interesting choice to develop effective and sensitive chemosensors. Here, we have summarized the functionalization of triazole and its application as a sensor for metal ions, anions, and biologically active agents. This review gives a detailed idea about the activity of functionalized triazole and its binding mechanism with other analytes.
