It was concluded since “reduflation” is a commercial strategy that directly violates the right to information and good faith, it can be said that it should be understood as an abusive and illicit practice. Furthermore, considering the STJ’s understanding, the practice can be equated to misleading advertising by omission, an illicit practice also explicitly prohibited by art. 37, caput of the CDC.
