VISUAL FEATURES OF MODERN NETWORK INTERVIEWS

Interviews have long been one of the most popular genres of journalism. In modern times, there is a great demand for video interviews - a live picture allows you to delve deeper into the essence of the conversation and catch more details. Screen interviews have one special feature that was not available in the printed format - spectacle. Research shows that modern consumer content spends almost half of its waking time before the eyes, so viewers now care not only about the semantic content of the dialogue in the interview, but also about its visual characteristics. YouTube is the world’s largest platform for distributing video content, so many interviewers provide their channels on this platform. In this context, the largest Russian-language YouTube channels with interview releases are considered. The Internet practically does not limit authors in creativity, one can even say that there is an unspoken struggle among them for the most non-trivial approach to the visual design of content. While television interviews had a certain standard (from timing to studio design), the online space is not limited in any way. Both the content and the visual component depend on the views and moral principles of the authors. Therefore, each interviewer or blogger builds their own channel and determines where the interview will be recorded, what will surround the characters, what kind of screensaver to edit, what sequential algorithms to use for color correction, and also decides how they will look on the screen.
