The poster played a significant role in the formation and dissemination of Soviet ideology. The article examines the propaganda aspect of female images of Soviet posters of the 1930s. After the establishment of Soviet power in the country, the implementation of a policy aimed at the emancipation of the female population began: equality is consolidated at the legislative level, economic emancipation begins to be associated with the active involvement of women in the professional sphere. Women were massively involved in industrialization, collectivization, the implementation of five-year plans and raising the level of culture. Political posters have played a significant role in changing the worldview of women and their behavior. The author examines the typology of female images presented on Soviet political posters, formed in the context of large-scale propaganda activities. Since the beginning of this decade, the production of poster products was taken under the control of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of the Bolsheviks, as a result of which the thematic diversity of posters was coordinated by party resolutions. With the help of historical, systematic, and classification methods, the images of women on posters are analyzed, popular female images(female workers, peasant women, Oriental women, social women) and the reasons for their formation are identified, the influence of the activities of the Communist Party and party ideology on the approval of relevant female images is considered. In the light of the formation of Soviet ideology, the main character of the poster becomes a working woman, a woman worker, in whose image new canons of femininity and female beauty are traced, attention is focused on details, symbolism, color. In conditions when part of the population remained illiterate, the poster was an effective means of informing about changes in society, promoting a new system, heroes, values, socialization - involving women in professional and public activities.
