TYPOLOGY OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT MODES: DEFINITIONS, CLASSIFICATION, CURRENT TRENDS
Objective: the study the methodological basis for determining the structure of urban passenger transportation. Methods: historical analogies, comparative analysis. Results: the historical aspect in the formation of urban passenger transport is analyzed. Modern methods of analyzing the distribution of passenger traffic by types of public transport are considered. Practical importance: the results of the research can be used in scientific and design works of transportation planning.
