Multidimensional Risk Assessment and Strategy Analysis of Overhead Transmission Lines Based on Analytic Hierarchy Process

To address the uncertainty and destructive potential of natural disasters, the risk assessment of overhead transmission lines is crucial. To comprehensively quantify the operational risks of overhead transmission lines under natural disaster conditions, a comprehensive model for quantifying risks has been developed. This model considers probabilities of risk occurrence, impacts of risk consequences, and severity levels of hazards caused by various natural disasters. Subsequently, the analytic hierarchy process was employed to calculate risk weights for overhead transmission lines under multiple natural disaster scenarios, establishing a corresponding hierarchical structure of risk weights. This method enables the evaluation of overhead line risks under various natural disaster conditions, confirming the feasibility of the approach. It effectively and reasonably assesses the impact levels of different natural disasters on overhead transmission lines, providing a comprehensive and systematic analysis of operational risks.
