Abstract

Sulfur hexafluoride (SF<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">6</inf>), a potent non-CO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf>greenhouse gas, is extensively used in the power industry due to its excellent insulating properties. However, SF<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">6</inf>'s Global Warming Potential (GWP) is 23,500 times that of CO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf>, and it has an atmospheric lifetime of 3,200 years, making its environmental impact significant and long-lasting and presenting a critical challenge for emission control. In order to curb the direct emission of SF<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">6</inf>, protect the environment, and realize the resource utilization of SF<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">6</inf>waste gas, many researches are carrying out SF<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">6</inf>emission control, ensuring the safe operation of electrical equipment, and saving the operation and maintenance cost of power grid.
