ANÁLISE COMPARATIVA DO PERFIL DAS SUPOSTAS VÍTIMAS DE VIOLÊNCIA SEXUAL MENORES DE 18 ANOS EM RELAÇÃO ÀS FAIXAS ETÁRIAS LACTENTES, CRIANÇAS E ADOLESCENTES ATENDIDAS NO INSTITUTO MÉDICO-LEGAL DE BELO HORIZONTE – MG
The article examines the profile of individuals under 18 years old who were allegedly victims of sexual violence, based on forensic examinations conducted at the Forensic Medical Institute of Belo Horizonte (IML-BH) between 2007 and 2012. The study investigates factors such as age, sex, location of the abuse, relationship to the suspect, presence of neurological deficits or psychiatric disorders in the victims, and characteristics of the injuries. The research was carried out through a retrospective analysis of 2,071 reports, excluding cases with incomplete records or victims who refused the forensic examination. The main objective was to identify patterns and characteristics that could assist in preventing and clarifying cases, as well as strengthening judicial processes. The results indicate that most victims were female adolescents, and the perpetrator often had a familial or close relationship with the victim. The study concludes that diagnosing child sexual abuse requires a multidisciplinary approach, integrating physical examination, the victim's reported history, and specific laboratory tests. It emphasizes the importance of standardizing reports and utilizing advanced technologies in the forensic context to enhance the identification and investigation of cases.
