Smart Monitoring System in Solar PV Tracker-Wind Energy Hybrid Using ESP32 Based Android Application
Hybrid PV solar tracker and wind energy system combines the strengths of solar and wind power to create a more efficient, reliable, and sustainable energy solution. This approach addresses the intermittency and variability issues of renewable energy sources, leading to a more stable and environmentally friendly energy supply. However, smart monitoring systems, which can be controlled remotely, play an important role in tracking parameters such as temperature, wind speed, air pressure, irradiation, and power generation. This system also facilitates the rapid identification and resolution of potential issues, ensuring timely repairs. Accurate sensor calibration is very important for the precise and reliable operation of these smart monitoring systems. Calibration results must be tested for linearity, accuracy, precision, and performance to ensure the system functions optimally. The results of precision and accuracy tests on all sensors obtain 100% precision and an average accuracy of 99%. In comparison, the performance test results on all sensors on the system network obtain delay and packet loss values of 52.57 ms and 0.4%. These results show that the sensor characteristics meet the specified standards, and the network performance is excellent.
