Analyzing Non-Stationary TDL Channel Models Based on Measurement Data

In this paper, we describe the extraction of parameters for a non-stationary tapped delay line channel model using first-order Markov chain in a V2V environment based on the measurement data. We analyze key properties such as delay spread, amplitude statistics, Doppler frequency, and correlations within a V2V environment. The number of taps required to model the channel is calculated, and the reliability of the channel model is evaluated based on the mean square delay spread of the channel. Our comprehensive investigation aims to enhance the understanding of dynamic channel behavior in V2V communication and to provide valuable insights for the development and optimization of communication systems in vehicular environments.
