Automated Length-Slice Conveyor for Fabric Handling

In the printing industry, fabrics are processed according to the design and type of material. Fabric rolls are brought to the printing machine to ensure the desired design is printed with high quality. After printing, the fabric is moved to the drying section to fix the dyes onto the material. Currently, the cloth is collected using a trolley and then manually moved to the packing section, where it is cut to precise lengths. This cutting process is done manually, which can lead to production delays and requires significant manpower. To address these issues, automating the cloth collection and cutting process can improve efficiency. The length of the fabric is measured and cut at regular intervals using a conveyor system and a pneumatic cutter. This method reduces the need for manual labor and speeds up the production process in the printing industry.
