Various Methods to Diagnose the Faults Occurring in Photovoltaics System
An investigation of solar panel failure detection is presented in this research work. Solar panels are a significant source of renewable energy, and the effective production of electricity depends on their optimal operation. Unfortunately, they are susceptible to flaws for a few reasons, including wear and tear, manufacturing flaws, and environmental variables. Faults can cause the panel to operate less efficiently, provide less energy, or possibly fail entirely. Early issue identification is therefore crucial for prompt maintenance and repair, which can stop additional damage and ensure that the solar panel performs at its best. This study examines several methodologies, including electrical and thermal imaging techniques, machine learning algorithms, and fault detection in solar panels. These methods are ranked according to how well they work at finding various solar panel defects and how easily they can be used. This proposed method compares various fault detection techniques used in solar photovoltaic systems.
