A high PSRR LDO design with Cascode compensation
PSRR is an important measure for LDO circuits. For the conventional form of EA is improved by using cascode compensation, this method significantly improves the power supply rejection ratio (PSRR). The design is based on Eastern High-Tech's 0.18 μm BCD process and simulated with Cadence. The results show that the output voltage can be stabilized at 1.5 V when the V<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">ref</inf> of the designed bandgap reference is 1.203 V. The load-adjustment ratio is 0.45%, the linearity-adjustment ratio is 0.6%, and the PSRR reaches -97 dB at low frequencies.
