Large Bistatic Angle Spaceborne Radar Beam Synchronous Strategy by Attitude Maneuver for Non-Along-Track observation
Spaceborne bistatic radar has attracted wide attention in the military field due to its superior anti-interference and anti-reconnaissance capabilities. However, with the increasing complexity of the environment, the capabilities of traditional bistatic radars in fast beam coverage and anti-stealth are difficult to meet actual needs. To address this problem, this paper proposes a spaceborne radar beam synchronous strategy by attitude maneuver for non-along-track observation in large bistatic angle geometry. First, it describes the geometric model of the spaceborne bistatic radar, and proposes a solution using the Canny algorithm for imaging edge extraction in complex shaped target areas. Then, an optimal beam footprint arrangement criterion is proposed to maximize echo receiving energy. Through simulation verification, the results show that the proposed method effectively improves the radar's fast beam coverage capability and achieves the optimal beam coverage.
